Installing or Removing Blackboard Mobile Application on Apple iPhone or iPad

Question:
How do I install or remove the Blackboard Mobile Application on an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad?
Answer:
To install or remove the Blackboard Mobile App from an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, please perform the following:
Installing Blackboard Mobile App
  1. Tap App Store from the Home screen
  2. Tap Search
  3. Enter Blackboard in the Search field
  4. Tap Search
  5. Tap Blackboard Education 
  6. Tap Get
Notes:
  • Search All Apps There is an option on the iPad to only search iPad apps. If this is selected then the mobile app will not be found.
  •  If prompted to enter credit card information click none and continue. This request is coming from Apple not the University of Phoenix and more than likely asking to update credit card information for Apple. Any question on this should be directed to Apple.
 Removing Blackboard Mobile App
  1. Press and hold the Blackboard icon on the Home screen. The icons on the Home screen will begin to shake.
  2. Tap the X in the upper-left corner of the Phoenix
  3. Tap Delete
Note: Instructors have their own version called Blackboard Instructor
